Lori A. Nocito, LWB '03
Executive Director

Prior to becoming the Executive Director of Leadership Wilkes-Barre in 2003, Lori Nocito spent more than 15 years in the corporate sector, serving as the advertising sales manager for The Times Leader and advertising director of the Sunday Dispatch, and more recently as a columnist for the Citizens' Voice. She began her public relations career as the director of public relations for the Pittston Area school district.

In addition to being the Executive Director of Leadership Wilkes-Barre, Ms. Nocito is the Chairperson of the Pittston Tomato Festival, the Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce Women's Network, Co-Chairperson of Coats/Shoes for Kids, member of the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, member of the Luzerne County Head Start Board of Directors, member of the Luzerne County Law and Library Association Lay Advisory Board, member of the Luzerne County Cultural Council, Geisinger Northeast Advisory Board, The Commonwealth Medical College Community Advisory Board, Circle 200 and the International Leadership Association.

She is a 2003 graduate of Leadership Wilkes-Barre, past member of the Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce, YMCA, and Salvation Army Board of Directors. She was named one of the "Top 25 Women in Business" by the Northeast Pennsylvania Business Journal. She also received a Community Partner award from Luzerne County Head Start and was named Greater Pittston Person of the Year in 2001. She received the Wyoming Valley Women's Club Woman of the Year award and the Thomas M. Kobeski Community Spirit Award. She was the 2009 commencement speaker at Penn State Wilkes-Barre.

Nocito is a graduate of the Pittston Area School District and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Penn State University.


Lisa Borchert, LWB '06
Program Manager

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from College Misericordia. She also holds an A.A.S. degree in Nutrition Science from Luzerne County Community College. Lisa serves on the Osterhout Library Board of Directors and resides in Shavertown with her husband, Kirk, and two children, Rhiannon and A.J.

Kim is Vice-Chair, Ethics Institute Board of Directors, College Misericordia, Member, Advisory Council, Women with Children Program, Misericordia University,
Member, Luzerne County Children and Youth Services Advisory Board, Member, Entertainment Committee, The Westmoreland Club, Sustaining member, Junior League of Wilkes-Barre, Past Member and Co-Chair Leadership Wilkes-Barre Alumni Council, Past Board Member, American Cancer Society, Past Member, American Cancer Society Daffodil Days Committee, Past Chair, Shavertown United Methodist Board of Trustees, Past Member, Shavertown United Methodist Administrative Board, Past Member, United Way Success by Six Initiative, Past Member, College Misericordia Theatre on the Green Committee, and
Past Member, Celebrity Luncheons Committee. Kim earned her bachelor's degree from Lycoming College majoring in History/Anthropology/Sociology. She enjoys traveling, running, and reading. Kim is a graduate of Leadership Wilkes-Barre, Class of 1996.

Norene Bradshaw, Masters '07
Program Director, Masters Leadership Wilkes-Barre

Norene is a board member and past board president of Luzerne County Head Start. She is the co-chair of the Allocations Committee of the United Way of Wyoming Valley. Norene is involved in the church ministries at St. Leo's/Holy Rosary Parish in Ashley and also volunteers at the Ashley Food Pantry. She is the past president and former member of Tri-County Personnel Association and American Business Women's Association and a former member of NEPA Society of Human Resources Management.

Norene received a B.S. in Business Education from Marywood University and Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation from International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She retired in 2007 from InterMetro Industries Corp. as Corp. Director of Human Resources. Norene currently resides in Hanover Township and enjoys traveling, swimming, reading, book discussion groups, and playing Mah Jong.
 

Rita Molino, LWB '07
Office Manager

Rita earned an Associate Degree in Business Management Technology from Luzerne County Community College. She is a former Board Member of the Child Development Council of Northeast Pennsylvania and is a current member of the Luzerne County Commission for Women. Rita has three children and a granddaughter and lives in Kingston. She enjoys walking, reading, and supporting community functions. Rita is a graduate of Leadership Wilkes-Barre and is a member of the Alumni Council.      

 

 

Amy Hetro, JLWB '02, LWB '08
Development & Communications Coordinator

Amy is a native of West Pittston and a graduate of both Junior Leadership Wilkes-Barre and the Leadership Wilkes-Barre Core Program. Amy graduated from King's College in 2007 and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. She is a member of the West Pittston Library Board of Trustees and a member of the Junior Leadership Advisory Council. Amy resides in West Pittston and enjoys reading, playing the piano, Atlanta Braves Baseball, and New York Giants Football.

Sally Tavaglione, Masters '04
Senior Aide

Sally is a native of Pittston and a graduate of Masters Leadership Wilkes-Barre. She has been very active for several years at the Apostolic Church in West Pittston and currently serves as the Mission Secretary. Sally resides in Forty-Fort and enjoys reading, working outdoors, and spending time with family.
